2023 年夏、インドネシアへ 3 度目の渡航をしてきました。 裸足で生活したり、外で水浴びをしたり、虫や動物と一緒に眠ったり、手でご飯を食べたり、賑やかな話し声、物売りやムスクから頻繁に聞こえてくる音楽、凸凹の道、色々な匂い…。 日々遭遇する膨大な感覚的刺激の数々。それは、忙しない程にカラフルな身体の体験でした。
そういった環境の中で「踊り」は、毎日の儀礼的習慣や儀式的な振る舞いの延長線上にある、どこか祈りや祝福を孕むものとして存在しています。「スラマッ (Selamat)」は、インドネシア語で挨拶や祝いの言葉に用いられる単語です。また、単語を 2 度繰り返す語法は、複数や連続性を表す際によく使われています。
今回の展示パフォーマンスでは、繰り返しの習慣の中から生まれた動きや感覚そのものを提示する方法を模索します。そして、日常の暮らしの中にある取り留めのない出会い、無視することも観察することもできるもの、関係を持つも持たないも自由な存在として身体を展示します。 どうぞご自由に、お好きな距離感でお楽しみください。
This summer I went to Indonesia for the third time. Living barefoot, bathing, sleeping with insects and animals, eating with hands, bustling conversations, frequent music coming from street sellers and musks, bumpy roads, encounters with various smells…. The daily physical experience was so busy and colorful. In such an environment, “dance” exists as an extension of daily ritual practices and ceremonial behavior, and is somehow a prayer or a blessing. “Selamat” is the Indonesian word for greeting and celebration. The repetition of a word twice is often used to express plurality and continuity. In this exhibition performance, I will explore ways to present the movements and physical sensations themselves, born out of repetitive habits. The body will be exhibited as an existence that can be ignored or observed, as an existence that is free to have or not have a relationship with you. Please feel free to enjoy it at any distance you like.

An regular event where the audience can watch a performance while gently expanding their senses through a workshop and various devices installed in the audience seats. It is held at Tsutsujigaoka Atelier, a reconstructed old private house.

幼少の頃より、クラシックバレエやジャズダンスを学ぶ。玉川大学芸術学部パフォーミング・アーツ学科卒。2012年〜パフォーマンスシアターグループ Comp.を主催。ダンス経験をもたない様々なジャンルのパフォーマーを起用し、即興を通して人格や生活習慣を浮き立たせるようなパフォーマンス作品を主に発表。近年では、東北地方の郷土芸能やインドネシア舞踊に興味を持ち、アジアに共通して見られる土着的な身体の在り方を研究している。2017年より、東日本大震災と東北地方の祭り文化をテーマにしたミュージカル「いのちてんでんこ」にて、振付・出演・制作補佐等を担い、郷土芸能団体へのリサーチを重ねながら全国各地で巡回公演を続けている。また、そのリサーチを元に「彼の地の匂い(2021)」「Se-mutant(2022)」などパフォーマンス作品を発表、アジアの身体性にフォーカスを当てたワークショップイベントも開催している。2022年にはインドネシアにて3カ月間のリサーチ滞在を行い、現地の伝統舞踊を学びながら、インドネシア各地のフェスティバルへの出演も行った。様々なジャンルのダンスの経験を活用し、演劇作品やミュージックビデオなどへの振付提供や、演出等も積極的に行っている。
Choreographer , Dancer / Born in Nagano, Japan / She has studied classical ballet and jazz dance since childhood. Graduated from Tamagawa University, performing arts department, and since 2012 has been organizing the performance theater group Comp. It has been presenting performance works focusing on showing personalities and their lifestyles through improvisation, using performers from various genres with no dance experience. In recent years, she has been interested in the local performing arts of the Northern-Japan region and Indonesian dance, and has been researching the common indigenous body practices found in Asia. Since 2017, she has choreographed, performed, and assisted in the production of “Inochi Tendenko,” a musical about the Great East Japan Earthquake and traditional festival culture in Northern-Japan. The piece has been performed throughout Japan and is continually being revived. She has also presented performance works such as “Flavor of that place (2021)” and “Se-mutant (2022)” based on her research, and held workshop events focusing on unique physicality of Asia. In 2022, she spent three months in Indonesia for research, learning local traditional dances and performing in festivals throughout the country. She is also actively involved in choreographing and directing theater productions and music videos, utilizing her experience in various genres of dance.
